How to Build a Brand - Prelude
It is my guess that many readers of this blog are either into branding and marketing professionally, or have a small business and are hoping to get some pointers. At this point, there probably aren’t many guys from Microsoft reading this blog for tips on how to strengthen the company’s brand.
So, over the course of this series, I will start from scratch and go over the steps to building a brand. If you aren’t interested in branding, it will be long, boring, and pointless. (But then I would wonder why you are reading a blog about branding in the first place.)
However, it is my hope that by completely dissecting the branding process, we can all gain a bit more insight into what truly makes up a brand.
Incidentally, I will be sprinkling installments in over the coming weeks. It isn’t like you’ll be getting 7 parts in 2 days or anything. But, we will get started right away with the first part, “Taking a Stand.”
