Present the Mission and Vision Statements
For most companies, setting out and marketing is as simple as setting up appointments and offering services or products to anyone they deem qualified and interested. But while any marketing professional would be equipped with the usual marketing paraphernalia such as flyers, brochures and company profiles, make sure that you also know the company mission and vision by heart.
The company mission and vision is normally included in the company profile. But have you ever asked yourself if you actually know what it stands for? In theory yes, but internally and digestively, chances are you are missing a point or two.
Why is it important? Considering you are really inclined to help a company get off its feet, do remember that the mission and vision actually guide you towards the right target market and the approach in presenting your company. It is not a simple matter of showing snazzy presentations or stuffing them with coffee and sandwiches. These clients will also be checking out if you as the front liner for your company actually know what you are marketing.
Would it not be embarrassing to find clients asking you these things and catching you off guard? Don’t wait for that to happen!
