So last week I went to a routine dermatologist appointment. No super big deal, I just had some spots for her to check out and that was that. Lately though, I’ve noticed some lines on my forehead. Granted, I’m only 21 but I just wanted some helpful hints to decrease the lines for when I’m older. This “get closer” message from Close Up uses see saws at local parks with the seats pushed closer together than normal.

Bubble Wrap in Marketing

Shiatsu is a relaxing massage technique that translates into “finger pressure”. This advertising campaign incorporates the massage mechanism into these outdoor posters by using two sheets of bubble wrap underneath the poster.

The viewer is encouraged by the poster to “press to relax”, is surprised with a tiny explosion caused by his/her finger pressure on the hidden plastic bubble. The effect is an added depth of active involvement and audio effect that illustrates the benefits and efficiency of the shiatsu massage, according to Trendhunter.

Lux Silk Nourishment used this very creative outdoor campaign to promote silky skin from using their products.

In Jakarta, India, the bark on these trees was used to represent dry skin and the shoes added were doing their best to make them look good. Maybe this goal wasn’t reached, but the advertising strategy used by Lux sure drew a lot of attention!
